Our office is looking for a dental hygienist that has a provider mindset, is a team player, willing to grow, wants to stay up to date, and is looking for a long term private family practice. The more value you bring to the practice the more you will be compensated.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years (actively working after graduation) of recent Dental Hygiene experience with a caring and happy demeanor.
Certification in administering local anesthesia is highly favorable/highly preferred.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and/or Registered Dental Hygienist
- Ability to manipulate small instruments, supplies and equipment with efficiency, dexterity, and
- exceptional hand-eye coordination
- State Requirements where specified
- Physical Requirements: Mostly walking, talking, standing, and updating information in computer
- Systems
- Certified to administer local anesthetics or willing to learn
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates the overall oral health of our patients; examines oral cavity for signs of periodontal disease, oral cancer or other lesions, and oral manifestations of systemic disease
- Performs oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the Doctor; these procedures may include:
- Prophylaxis
- Periodontal Scaling and Root Planning and maintenance
- Placement of Locally Applied Antibiotics
- Application of Fluoride treatments
- Application of Protective Sealants
- Oral Cancer Screening
- Educates the patient on oral hygiene care to help the patient maintain or improve oral health
- Administer anesthetic when needed
- Informs Dentists of possible restorative concerns for future examination
- Maximizes patient flow in the office by assisting with radiographs, sterilization, and office procedures
- Consults with Doctors and Office staff to ensure patient experience levels are met and exceeded
- Maintains a neat and orderly workplace; performs weekly and monthly required housekeeping

Job Type: Full-time Hourly - $34 - $44 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday full time
Work Location: One location - Oldsmar, FL
Office hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, required to be in office ready for huddle no later than 7:45 am
Education: - Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene or higher.
Experience:
- Dental Hygienist: 1-2 years (preferred, not including time in Dental Hygiene School/externship)
License/Certification:
- RDH/LDH
- X-Ray
- Certification Anesthesia Certification (highly preferred or willing to get certified in near future)
Ability to commute:
- Oldsmar, FL 34677: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
