We are seeking a Senior Demand Planner to join our team and lead the forecasting and demand planning processes for our products. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of supply chain and inventory management concepts, as well as extensive experience with forecasting and demand planning tools and software. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to research, analyze, and maintain analytics reports and databases to create effective and reliable inventory forecasts, optimize revenue, and avoid inventory surpluses and shortages.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Research, analyze, and maintain analytics reports and databases to create effective and reliable forecasts

• Collaborate and communicate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to manage capacity and avoid inventory surpluses and shortages

• Develop and update demand planning strategies to improve forecast accuracy and analysis

• Establish, maintain, and document demand planning processes, techniques, and systems

• Utilize forecasting tools and techniques to predict future demand, minimize lead times, and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and changes in customer demand

• Continuously learn and deploy new forecasting models to improve forecast accuracy

• Lead S&OP meetings and present demand forecasts to senior leadership

• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify patterns and forecast demand

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and sales organizations to ensure timely planning for large orders and appropriate supply planning

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks

• Continuously improve demand planning processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related field

• 4+ years of experience in demand planning or a related role.

• Experience with forecasting software and ERP systems

• APICS or IBF certification preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Extensive experience with forecasting and demand planning tools and software

• Deep understanding of supply chain and inventory management concepts

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Ability to establish and maintain demand planning processes, techniques, and systems
