Position Summary

• The Day Shift Production Supervisor will help oversee all day and night operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity. Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help with daily load list and company emails
• Commit to plant safety procedures
• Help develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Help with trailer reconciliation and daily driver boards

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience supervising people preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Safety must be the first priority.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants
• Ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures and other company and industry documents.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to see, speak, and hear.
• Frequent sitting and standing, walking, bending, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; may stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to perform very heavy work—regularly lift 25lbs to 75lbs, and occasionally lift greater than 76lbs
