**PAID TRAININGS DONE ON SITE**
For nearly 50 years, LifePath has been providing a variety of community and residential services to individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout 7 counties in Pennsylvania. General Responsibilities: Day Services Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to being responsible for overseeing operations of Day Services programs in accordance with all applicable county, state, and federal regulations and with high standards of quality.
Specific Duties:
1. Will assume responsibilities related to the operations of the Day Services in
absence of the Director.
2. Ensure active consumer engagement in age-appropriate activities.
3. Monitor budgets to ensure all programs operate within assigned limits.
4. Ensure overall quality of the programs.
5. Order supplies, equipment and materials as needed for each program.
6. Complete book audits on a quarterly basis. Ensure annual licensure of all
programs.
7. Supervise and monitor the work of Day Services staff. Evaluations and disciplines.
8. Ensure staff training requirements are met. Arrange in-service training and
orientation.
9. Assist with hiring as needed.
10. Oversee pre-admission evaluations, placement recommendations and discharge
of individuals from programs.
11. Hold general staff meetings.
12. Act as Program Specialist as needed.
13. Input and follow up on all building maintenance concerns.
14. Attend additional meetings as needed in the absence of the Director.
15. Process PTO requests and maintain a calendar of scheduled and unscheduled
time off.
16. Monitor staff MITC daily. Submit original TOTAR forms to the Payroll Office.
17. Ensure ratios within the Day Services are met daily.
18. Perform direct care duties within the program rooms.
19. Monitor Day Services individual’s attendance in MITC.
20. Develop and implement behavior support plans and data collections sheets.
21. Train staff working with individuals in outcome implementation.
22. Assist with research and development of volunteer opportunities for Day
Services individuals and ensure participation.
23. Review incident reports, investigate incidents, and take action according to
LifePath policies and procedures. Become a HCSIS certified investigator.
24. Become a certified medication observer
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Day Services Manager Qualifications:
-At least 18 years of age
-Valid Driver's license with 3-year clean driving record
-Ability to lift 50 pounds
-Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of work experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of work experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; or Associate’s Degree or sixty (60) credits from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of work experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities AND 2 years Supervisory Experience.
