Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the processing of payments, responding to customer inquiries, requests and complaints. Job functions would include: process service/meter orders; calculate and adjust electric service billed revenue as required; negotiate with customers concerning late payment arrangements and determine deposit amounts when required; process new service orders/transfers; speaking to customers about services and products.

Job Requirements:

  • Business office experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with customer billing systems desired
  • Experience with cash processes desired
  • Ability to process a high volume of transactions
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous utility customer service experience highly desired

Must be able to handle all functions of a business office representative and is self-directed with strong initiative and has the desire and ability for continued career growth.
