Stellar Solutions is seeking a Cryogenic and Thermal Stress Analyst. Selected candidate will provide stress analysis expertise to Lockheed Martin’s Sustaining Lunar Development Program.
Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications:- In-depth experience in the aerospace/defense cryogenic and thermal systems
- Expertise in stress analysis of primary and secondary structures primarily dealing with spacecraft propulsion systems. Includes static, dynamic, vibration isolation, fatigue, system level finite element (linear, non-linear) modeling and dynamic analysis of mechanical systems and components including modal, random, sine, transient and shock response, noise, and vibration test data reduction & analysis
- Use classical stress and strain methods and software to predict structural integrity and failure and design flight components
- Experience producing structural analysis reports and ability to communicate analysis results effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Familiarity with engineering product development tools for cryo/thermal systems- CREO/NX/Thermal Desktop, etc
- Must be a U.S. citizen
