Job description

Countertop installers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

• Measuring, cutting, and fitting materials for countertops
• Installing sinks and faucets
• Installing, laminate, quartz, granite or marble countertops in residential and commercial settings
• Installing sinks, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures,
• Measuring and cutting materials to specified sizes and shapes, using saws and other tools

Match materials for color, grain, or texture

Cut, shape, and assemble wooden parts to construct frames for refrigeration equipment and be designated Refrigerator Cabinetmaker

Produce or assemble components of articles, such as store fixtures, office equipment, cabinets, or high-grade furniture

Measure materials to mark reference points, cutting lines, or other indicators

Accurately measure, mark and cut hardwood and softwood lumber, panel products, including fiberboard and plywood, decorative laminates and solid surface materials

Assists in maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies and materials

Participates in the maintenance of the shop area and equipment to keep the area clean, orderly and safe

Fabricate and assemble complex items using plastic laminates, wood veneers, metals, glass, and solid surface materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
