Work alongside highly skilled, trained, professional chefs. Our Lodge Kohler team leads an action-packed boutique hotel just yards from Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers.

As a Cook at Lodge Kohler, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing all foods necessary for service to the demonstrated culinary standards.
• Producing all quantities according to forecast.
• Demonstrating competency in vegetable preparations, cooking starches, rice, pasta and sandwich preparation.
• Basic meat, fish and poultry cooking and preparation of basic stocks, soups and sauces.
• Ensuring that foods prepared do not fall in the temperature danger zone.
• Practicing safe food handling techniques
• Maintaining the knife safety standards.
• Utilizing the safety stations, and being aware of hazards
• Maintaining and developing a working knowledge of all equipment within your job duties.
• Knowing how to assemble, disassemble and clean equipment.
• Assisting in the training of culinary skills.
• Ordering inventory according to established pars.

Assisting in monthly inventory taking if necessary.

We have Full Time opportunities available. Working weekdays & weekends, shifts will primarily be 9am-5pm or 2pm-10pm.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of line cook experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a kitchen environment with occasional extremes in temperature (heat, cold, humidity) for an extended period of time, good knife skills, knowledge of standard kitchen equipment
• Culinary degree preferred, but not required
• Serv Safe Certification preferred, but not required
