JOB BRIEF

A Controller must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command.

The goal is to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

· State sales tax knowledge

· Interface with banks

· Working with auditors

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide daily cash position to CEO, including a listing of items outstanding and items cleared.
• Reconcile bank statement daily to provide daily cash position to CEO.
• Check bank cash pro online to approve any checks and ach transactions that show up as exceptions.
• Look up cleared checks when necessary on bank cash pro website.
• Close month end accounting period and provide financials statement to CEO by division on a monthly basis by 20th of following month.
• Provide financial statements to bank based on loan document guidelines.
• Prepare audit schedules and manage the year-end audit.
• Work with staff accountant to process all sales and use tax returns.
• Oversee all state sales tax function
• Work with SAP by design technical support to resolve issues in the system on an ongoing basis.
• Work with outside tax CPA to provide information necessary so they can prepare annual federal and state tax returns. Send all state and federal tax notices to tax CPA when received.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
