Job description
Ferrous Processing and Trading (FPT), a business of Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, has an immediate opportunity for a Contract Administrator at our FPT Corporate operation. Responsible for general support to the corporate sales team and FPT logistics team.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enter sales orders for all FPT locations
- Reserve brokerage tickets and enter completed brokerage loads
- Bill and notice all rail cars for all FPT locations
- Create monthly price sheets from market publications.
- Maintain bale and return reports for inter-corporation circulation
- Provide support to the sales reps and yard managers
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) year degree from an accredited vocational/technical school preferred
- Preferred working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to complete assignments promptly with attention to detail
- Work cooperatively with other employees and the public
- Pre-Employment background required
