Job Description:

- Manage estimating team and schedule

- Take ownership of bid process to assemble accurate, competitive, and complete bids

- Act as a ‘salesman’ to build and strengthen new and existing client relationships

- Interact with clients to build rapport and gain a clear understanding of their needs on each project

- Read, interpret, analyze landscape plans and specifications to accurately understand all elements of the project, stay current on project documents through evaluation of addendum’s and other client notifications

- Assign tasks to estimating team members to achieve department goals

- Develop relationships with general contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers

- Track progress & follow up with clients

- Create new and innovative processes to continually improve the estimating department

Skills/Qualifications:

- 3-5 years estimating commercial landscape projects

- Outgoing personality and professional appearance

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

- Proficient in the use of technology (Estimating and Take Off Software)

- Advanced knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret construction plans (details, scale, notes, etc.) and other project documentation

- Proven ability to lead with a professional demeanor in adverse situations

- Organized and punctual with the desire to juggle an ever-changing schedule

- Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
