LS Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced team-oriented Computer Scientist to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Responsibilities:
The test lead will be responsible to participate contractor development test activities, including but not limited to:
- Reviews of system designs, test development and conduct, and test result analyses
- Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Installation and Integration (I&I), System Test (ST), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and other testing by performing test plan development and specification analysis for defining Test Approaches and Success Criteria along with applicable configurations and simulation capabilities needed to verify the contractual agreements
- The individual needs to not only complete assigned tasks independently, but also be able to lead other members of the test team to complete tasks collectively
- . It is also expected that the individual be able to take initiative to identify and anticipate technical issues, and to advise the FAA with proposed solutions to resolve the issues and mitigate risks
Requirements:
A proposed individual needs to demonstrate recent and relevant technical experience (preferably with the FAA's established V&V/T&E standards) with actual engineering and hands-on experience in testing complex systems, specifically in Developmental Test (DT) and/or Operational Test (OT) as required:
- Hands-on experience in performing tests, functional designs reviews
- Analyzing system/subsystem specifications and user requirements
- Developing test plans
- Participating in all phases of system developments, etc.
- Experience in development of test cases and review of requirements.
- 2-5 years of experience in testing.
- BS degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.
