DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures all requirements for maintaining a safe workplace are followed (PPE, rules & policies, applicable government regulations, etc.)
• Maintains the Facility Security Plan (FSP) and coordinates annual US Coast Guard evaluation
• Serves as Facility Security Officer, as defined in the FSP
• Develops and Maintains Company Safety Policies
• Company representative on Three Rivers Pollution Response Council (TRPRC)
• Liaison with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP)
• Reports Stormwater Permit activity through PADEP portal
• Monitors Tankerman license/certification applications/renewals
• Orders all EHS supplies (PPE, Seals, Placards, etc.)
• Ensures all applicable paperwork/documentation is accurately completed and filed
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelors degree preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, NFPA, EPA, and other governmental regulations or laws
• Ability to communicate effectively internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, SAP and AS400
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle confidential material.
• Skilled in building relationships.
• Excellent analytical and research / problem solving skills.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong active listening skills
• Ability to effectively execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
