CNC Milling Supervisor

About The Position:
This is an Exempt (Salaried) position in a climate controlled facility.
In our NJ facility, we machine tight tolerance (<.0001 in.) military/aerospace products (i.e. connectors) using various metals (some exotic - i.e. inconel, tantalum, beryllium copper, etc.).

- Supervise CNC Milling Machinists and Milling Department Staff (Deburring and Cleaning Technicians)
- Develop skillset of machinists while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Continuously monitor departmental output, quality, and delivery through KPIs.
- Monitor and order tooling for the department.
- Coordinate with Planning Department for scheduling department assets and resources.
- Clearly communicate resource/asset issues with immediate attention to recovery planning if issues affect customer commitment dates.
- Support Estimating Department with quotes/lead times when requested.
- Evaluate employee performance regularly and recommend development plans.
- Complete tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Comply with all Rosenberger North America Pennsauken policies and safety guidelines.
- Adjust schedules as necessary to meet customer requirements.
- Recommend employee disciplinary direction within the department.
- Generate and administer employee performance reviews within the department.
- Interview potential candidates, with hiring recommendation
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of prior manufacturing experience – programming, setting up, and operating Milling machines for precision parts.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, MasterCam, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
- Understanding of operations and issues of Milling and CNC Machining.
- Knowledge of Mastercam and Solidworks or equivalent programming software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail oriented.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, technical specs, and quality requirements.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Provides problem solving, cost effective and solution-oriented proposals.
- Motivated and possesses the motivation to meet high standards.
- Work with limited supervision
- Strong computer skills (ERP, excel, word, outlook)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
