YOUR LIFE AS A CNC MACHINING SPECIALIST

This full-time machinist position works during the day.

As a CNC Machining Specialist, you take complete control of our machining process, which includes milling, turning, and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of materials and tool selection. Additionally, you possess extensive knowledge of work fixture offsets and programming different features. You maintain a thorough understanding of work fixture offsets and how to program different features.

Additionally, you perform advanced metal-cutting operations and inspections of your own work products. You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, continuous improvement, and a desire to achieve established quality and productivity levels. As needed, you attend work cell and company meetings. You also correctly fill out non-conforming part reports (NCRs) as well as develop process instructions that identify operations, tool sequences, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for parts requiring any kind of machining operation. Having a job that uses your strong mechanical aptitude and technology skills to do important work brings you great satisfaction, which is why you excel in this CNC machining position!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• College degree or trade school certification
• Proficiency with GibbsCam software, CNC programming, Fanuc, and Siemens controls
• Proficiency with all types of measuring tools and gages, including thread gages, bore gages, calipers, and tool pre-setters
• Ability to read blueprints both in English and metric using geometric tolerancing symbology
• Highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Windows
• Strong math skills
