Job description

We are hiring CNA/Medication Aide at Norse Home, a Transforming Age community, located at 5311 Phinney Ave N Seattle, WA 98103. We are in North Seattle across from the Woodland Park Zoo.

The full-time schedule will be Saturday and Sunday 6am to 10:30pm (32 hours). On occasion, more shifts will be available if you want more hours. When you work the evening hours, you will receive an extra $0.75 per hour.

What you’ll do as our CNA/Medication Manager

• Assist residents with their hygiene regimens
• Assist in serving meals, leading and attending activities
• Provide verbal and physical assistance to residents in transfers/ambulation
• Ensure assigned residents are provided an opportunity to participate in social, physical, creative, and spiritual activities of their choice
• Chart daily assignments and vitals electronically
• Administer medications to residents in accordance with their care plans.
• Other duties as assigned

What you will need to succeed:

• Social Security Card (Must be authorized to work in the United States)
• CNA Certification in the State of Washington
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to occasional weekends may be required
• May be required on occasion to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $24.50 - $25.50 per hour
