Position Summary This position assists residents in the community with all activities of daily living, and provides personal hygiene care. Additionally, this position observes and reports any changes in the resident’s status to the Care Manager or lead staff person.

Essential Functions General Care • Provide assistance and general resident care, including, but not limited to: social interaction, meal assistance, bathing, toileting, housekeeping.

  • Follow care plan, including monitoring resident inputs, outputs, vitals, behavior, safety concerns and any other changes.
  • Upon request, transport residents to and from required appointments.
  • As needed, be an active participant in life enrichment activities. Documentation
  • Contribute to employee communication log to ensure smooth transition of necessary information from one shift to the other.
  • Document all inputs, outputs, vitals, behavior, and/or safety concerns as needed in the client file. Successful Employee Attributes at Oxford Senior Living

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program in the State of employment.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a memory care or assisted living community. Physical Working Requirements
  • Ability to travel using personal vehicle, including at night.
  • Able to do occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends.
  • Employee is subject to outside environment conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
