Clinical Evaluator

Position Summary: To grow the census at The Pines at Catskills by determining the appropriateness of a resident admission through clinical evaluation, based upon criteria established by NHCA.

Position Duties:

· Performs on-site, clinical assessments to determine the appropriate placement of patients.

· Coordinates appropriate admissions to the Facility.

· Participates in Business Development meetings at the Facility.

· Serves as a resource to family members, referral sources, prospective accounts regarding services and programs offered by the Facility.

· Generates new referrals by establishing relationships with healthcare professionals.

· Maintains relationships with all appropriate contacts in the hospital and related accounts.

· Completes reports as assigned in a timely and comprehensive manner.

· Maintains current knowledge of client payment sources.

Executes marketing/sales calls to targeted referral sources

Qualifications:

· Licensed medical professionals, RN, LPN, MSW, OT, PT as a requirement and at least 2 years of college.
