Ayres Associates has been serving communities and private clients for over 50 years. You ll be working with a growing group on diverse civil/environmental engineering and infrastructure development projects. You ll interact and forge long-term relationships with clients and develop solutions that benefit the community as a whole.
You will join a strong professional team in a collaborative atmosphere to support design efforts for various government and private client projects. Your work will involve general site civil engineering, stormwater management, and water/wastewater infrastructure development.
On a given day, you ll:
- Direct and/or design/develop plans, prepare engineering documents in accordance with the latest prevailing codes
- Prepare and monitor project budget and be responsible for project schedules and the timely completion of projects
- Prepare permit applications and submittals
- Participate in presentations, interviews, and project/client meetings
- Serve as a designated client contact
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
- Florida Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain within 1 year
- 5-15 years of progressive experience designing/coordinating civil engineering projects
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with other team members in multiple offices
- Valid driver s license and good driving record
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal codes and standards
