Pine Island Chemical Solutions is a privately owned and operated full-service oilfield chemical company offering a wide variety of products and services for over 15 years and we are currently looking for a part-time student to join our laboratory team!

Position Responsibilities:

· Gathering sample containers and ensure proper protocols are followed to allow technicians to test chemicals.

· Documents the entire testing process and writes data reports when testing is complete.

· Prepares and records laboratory inspections and testing records.

· Calibrates testing equipment used in a laboratory.

· Complies with all environmental, OSHA, and corporate regulations and guidelines.

• Required to review and stay up-to-date with hazardous and chemical material handling and hazardous shipping regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Student currently enrolled in Associate’s/Bachelor’s Chemistry program preferred. Related experience or study may be substituted for formal education.
• Preference of one year of experience working in research or production laboratory environment.

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
