Job Title: Medical Assistant

Overview: DrKumo is a fast-growing remote patient monitoring company revolutionizing the healthcare industry by empowering patients to manage their health from the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care with healthcare providers and team members
• Assist with patient onboarding and ensure that all necessary information is collected and updated in the system
• Obtain patient medical history
• Communicate with patients regularly and provide them with updates on their care plans
• Monitor patient health data and ensure that it is accurately recorded in the system
• Respond to patient inquiries and escalate issues to the appropriate team members
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and procedures
• Collaborate with various teams throughout the organization on various projects.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or relevant certification
• 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting
• Bilingual (optional) is a plus: English/Spanish, English/Chinese; English/Cantonese; English/Korean, English/Hindi, etc.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong working ethnic
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures

Compensation: $18-23/hr.
