We have a position open for an experienced HD Wrecker Driver.
These are hourly paid positions PLUS commission (bonus $) and the hourly rate is a PREMIUM rate.
Located in Monon, Indiana 10 minutes North of the Indiana Beach tourist area in Monticello, IN. We are currently looking for Full Time EXPERIENCED Heavy Duty Tow Truck operators. We work directly with various commercial accounts and the general public in providing towing, transport and recovery services.
We are seeking self-motivated, hard-working, ethical people with problem solving abilities. You must have good driving skills and be mechanically inclined.
American Bulldog Towing operates 24/7 every day of the year, that doesn't mean you work 24/7. NO DAYS OR HOURS LISTED FOR THIS POSITION, because we shall discuss that in person during the interview. We believe in having a work/life balance. Don't want to work weekends that's ok. Need every Thursday night off to read the kids a story before bed? We can accommodate that too.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with all aspects of Towing, Recovery, Transport, and HAZMAT Mitigation from scenes to which you have been dispatched.
- Tow and haul with heavy duty wreckers and tractor trailers.
- Assist in mechanic shop when towing duties are light.
- Inspect company vehicles and maintain all equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Communicating with dispatcher in person, via telephone and electronically
- Interact with customers in a friendly professional manner
Qualifications:
** We prefer 2 years Heavy Duty Towing experience but willing to train the right person**
- Valid Class A CDL
- Medical Card
- Able to pass drug screen, background check, and DOT physical requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Experience as a maintenance technician (mechanic) and/or parts knowledge
- Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
PAID TRAINING AVAILABLE
