Contractor shall attend planning and coordination meetings and provide necessary input for services. Contractor personnel shall regard personal information on all applicants, volunteers, and participants as confidential. Contractor shall comply with all privacy and confidentiality laws and regulations. As required by public laws and military regulations, the Contractor shall divulge information of illegal activities to the proper authorities. The Contractor personnel shall present a neat, well-groomed appearance appropriate for religious worship services and other activities identified in this PWS while performing under this contract. Contractor personnel shall behave in a professional manner befitting US military religious support activities. Contractor personnel shall demonstrate dignity and respect, keeping in harmony with the values and norms of the Army Chaplain Corps. Schedule:

The contracted priest shall be on location before scheduled services to ensure proper preparation for successful performance, at least 30 minutes prior to the services being performed.

Job Overview:

All Catholic Priest services under this contract are to be performed by an ordained Priest of the Catholic Church who is endorsed by the AMS, with faculties granted by the AMS Archbishop and in cooperation with the Catholic Chaplain and COR. In the absence of a Catholic Chaplain, the Contractor shall coordinate with the Catholic Pastoral Life Coordinator and advise the Government POC as the Catholic subject matter expert.

The Contractor shall have the ability to communicate effectively in English for coordination with the community and satisfactory completion of administrative tasks.

Mass.

The Contractor shall celebrate Mass in accordance with the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM) normally lasting one (1) hour on Sundays and holy days of obligation and 30 minutes on weekdays (including a homily) as scheduled by the Catholic Chaplain or Government POC.

The Contractor shall celebrate Mass for special events and/or religious holidays (to include but not be limited to Lent, Holy Triduum, Easter, and Advent) in accordance with the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM), as scheduled by the Government Catholic Priest or Government POC.

Sacramental Rites.

The Contractor shall be available for the sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) before each Sunday Mass and at the request of a community member.

The Contractor shall be available for Emergency Viaticum, Anointing of the Sick, as needed, in coordination with Catholic Chaplain or Government POC.

The Contractor shall be available for the sacrament of Baptism and sacrament of Matrimony as scheduled by the Catholic Chaplain or Government POC
