Job description
Responsible to the Patient Account Supervisor involving the proper recording of payments from patients and Medicare, Medicaid, and Third Party Payers and proper recording of adjustments. Regarding patient health information, has access to demographics, billing, and limited clinical data relevant to the current encounter.
Requirements:Job Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
? Six months of on-the-job experience in a like or similar position involving data entry is desired.
? Must have proficiency in the use of a calculator and a typewriter.
? Computer experience is desired.
Physical Demands:
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Schedule: 830am-5pm M-F / 40 hrs. per week
