Job description

· Assist with all carpentry work on jobsites, which may include decking, SIPs installation, windows/doors, trim, siding, flooring, etc. Perform work in an accurate and timely manner. Learn to use tools safely and effectively.

· Member of timber frame raising crew. Able to work at above-ground heights, take direction, use all applicable tools.

· Woodshop work as needed. This may include planing, shaping, molding, and other basic woodworking jobs as necessary.

· Site work and general contracting assistance, as needed. This may include heavy equipment operation & maintenance, trench work, road building, etc.

· Lumber/yard support as needed. This may include tailing, stacking, stickering, and moving lumber. Loading/unloading kiln as needed.

· Other jobs as necessary specific to the timber frame business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
