• The cardiovascular technologist is a registered or eligible professional primarily specializing in the utilization of invasive cardio vascular procedures as necessary, and performs under the direct supervision of cardiologists and radiologists.

Which Qualifications Do You Need? In order to set you up for success, you need the basics of…

• Graduate from an accredited school of cardiovascular technology with a degree or registry in an allied health field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Must be proficient in performing all invasive cardiac cath procedures and radiology special procedures.
• Registered in RT.
• ACLS and BLS required.
