Base Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 DOE + Bonus + Commission (1st year OTE - $65k - $70k) + Benefits

Business Development Rep (IT/Tech Sales) Description
Our client in the business technology industry is looking for a Business Development Rep to add to their team in Melville, NY. You will be responsible for identifying and creating new sales opportunities within target accounts. In addition to that, you will also be responsible for engaging with prospects via outbound activities with the goal of educating, qualifying, and nurturing prospects into sales-ready leads and opportunities. Ideal candidates will have a hunger for sales and a desire to learn and grow. To be successful in this role, you must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs. Business Development Rep (IT/Tech Sales) Responsibilities
● Engage prospects with creative messaging via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.
● Create targeted outreach campaigns to key strategic accounts
● Research in-depth target accounts and contacts
● Provide closed-loop feedback between sales, marketing, and business development
● Manage and overcome prospect objections
● Become a trusted resource by developing superior relationships with prospect
● Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
● Use scripts to provide information about product features
● Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
● Record the customer’s personal information accurately
● Record useful information for follow-up
● Complete customer surveys to obtain important client information
Business Development Rep (IT/Tech Sales) Qualifications
● 1+ years of sales or business development experience required
● Prospecting experience required
● CRM software experience required
