Business Development Manager Needed for Growing HR Consultancy in Flower Mound, Texas!
Grey Owl HR is an HR Consulting firm focused on providing small businesses with access to expert HR advice and services when and where they need it. We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in the HR Consulting or PEO industry and possess excellent cold calling and prospecting skills.
The person we are looking for:
- Has knowledge of basic Human Resources principles and an eagerness to learn and grow within the field.
- Has a solutions-focused mindset and is not afraid to present new ideas for improving business offerings or processes
- Has 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in HR Consulting or related industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Is organized and flexible, with the ability to prioritize work based on internal and external client needs.
Some things you will be working on:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target industries.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to reach new clients and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver effective proposals and presentations.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
- Identify areas for improvement within our service offerings and provide recommendations to the leadership team.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and services.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Pay is a base rate plus commissions on all new business.
