Description:
This position administers the daily Managed Care operations along with all of the divisions under this department. This includes performing a broad range of administrative support to management. This position provides assistant duties related to the Executive Director of Managed Care as well.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates and provides semi-professional service to university committees
- Provide daily support to management including the preparation of correspondence and reports requiring decisions that tend to establish precedents
- Arranges, participates in, and/or implements decision of conferences, committee meetings, and all Managed Care (including all divisions under Managed Care) meetings as directed.
- Complete the daily operations and staff responsible for Managed Care and all of its divisions, Managed Care human resources, OBFS and contract activities under the current human resources department representative.
- Oversee the maintenance of facilities and equipment; the purchasing of supplies, along with other required activities vital to departmental performance.
- Monitor compliance with the required learning management system courses and performance evaluation programs.
- Retrieve mail, deliveries and other necessary onsite functions in a timely manner
- Assists in other office management functions as requested.
- Assists in other HR functions as requested.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a field related to the position.
- Two (2) years of professional business, financial, and/or managerial work experience.
(NOTE: A Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in all Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Strong Analytic Skills
- Customer Services related experience
- Strong ability to multi-task multiple projects
