The Mason Jar Boutique is an affordable online clothing boutique selling the latest trends. We started in 2014 and have been growing quickly! We have opened two retails stores in 2021 and have more on the way! Our warehouse located outside of Dell Rapids, SD and retail stores located in: Cave Creek, AZ, Sioux Falls, SD, and Fargo, ND. We are constantly looking to expand and go bigger so the right candidate will have the opportunity to move up within the company.

Job Description:

At Mason Jar Boutique, our sales associate is the first person who our clients see as our brand. The successful candidate will have retail experience. A sales associate must have a strong emphasis on guest service, product and vision presentation, be an effective problem solver. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Maximize daily sales
• Re-merchandise and clean store.
• Building a room and up selling to customers.
• Demonstrates a passion for fashion by understanding trends

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in retail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization skills; able to plan and execute tasks efficiently
• Proactive and creative problem solving ability
• Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities
• Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting and climbing
• Must be able to work alone
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
