Position: Supervisor UCO (used cooking oil) and Bakery - Night Shift

Department: Operations

Location: Marshville Reports To: Plant Manager

Summary:

The Plant Supervisor for UCO and Bakery is responsible for overseeing the timely and efficient flow of UCO and raw material into quality finished products for Marshville Operations. Supervisor ensures that equipment and buildings are maintained and in good repair.

• Responsible for observing all Company safety rules and regulations, recognize safety as top Company priority and conduct/participate regularly scheduled safety meetings with plant staff.
• Maintain timely processing of UCO into finished goods to be shipped via Rail Car
• Maintain efficient and timely flow of all Bakery raw materials received and finished products shipped.
• Oversee all aspects of maintenance, preventative maintenance, manages breakdowns and repair for both UCO and Bakery.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in all areas of responsibility.
• Perform training to new employees.
• Responsible for achieving individual and department targets, goals and objectives.
• Oversee UCO plant operations for evaporator, finish tank storage and Wabo unloading.
• Oversee Bakery plant processing for both Lines of production.
• Responsible for overseeing job performance of production and maintenance as well as all the maintenance of equipment and buildings that are used to process raw and finished materials.
• Assist in conducting investigation of accidents that occur within jurisdiction and makes recommendations to Plant Safety Committee.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• 5 years of prior supervisory experience is required.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school certificate or Associates Degree.
• Labor relations background and leadership experience.
• Good understanding of production maintenance and repair protocols.

Physical Demands

• Occasionally lift-up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
