Cantu Services, Inc. is looking an Experienced Bake to create fresh pastry products at Fort Leavenworth, KS.

The Baker prepares, bakes, and cooks pastry products in dining hall facility. His/her principal tasks are:

a. Prepares, Bakes, Cooks, and Serves Food. Prepares fresh pastry products for serving by following standard or approved created recipes. The Baker reviews pastry production schedule and draws appropriate number of ingredients to yield the prescribed number of portions. He/she must mix all ingredients, proof all dough products and bake all items to prescribed doneness utilizing proper baking temperature or at prescribed thermostat settings on cooking equipment.

b. Maintains Kitchen Equipment and Utensils. Operates mixers, baking and roasting ovens and fryers in preparing and cooking food. Inspects food preparation and cooking equipment and utensils for sanitary and safe operating conditions prior to use. Sanitizes cooking equipment after use. Observes safe operating practices

Pay: $22.00 per hour
