Job description
Under the direction of the AVIDS Supervisor, the Reproduction Worker is the initial point of contact for all AVIDS customers. The Reproduction Worker will maintain the work order database, collect, and schedule customer requests and perform all clerical and administrative duties. Specifically, the AVIDS Reproduction Worker will keep records of all work orders and ensure G3 approval before commencement of any work.
- Provide customer assistance and advice in a proficient and professional manner.
- Schedule customer appointments.
- Create and verify work orders. Answer phone, take messages, and give routine information in accordance with established procedures.
- Quality checks all work prior to customer pick-up.
- Receive and log in/out all work requests.
- Provide data to Supervisor for daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Collect data and prepare administrative reports as required and ensure all contract deliverables (CDRL's) are submitted in a timely manner.
- Participation in functional specific safety training. Perform clerical/administrative duties in other areas as required. Keep Supervisor informed of any problem areas. Ensure adherence to safety standards, policies, and practices.
- Educational Equivalent: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: Preferably two (2) years of background using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Specific Knowledge: MS Office. Licenses/Certifications/Registration, etc.:
- Must possess a valid California driver’s license.
- Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) to utilize government operating systems.
- Must be able to operate all reproduction equipment located in the AVIDS section of TSC.
- Basic typing skills.
- Must have basic computer skills, and knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Requires the ability to distinguish letters and symbols.
- Requires normal vision range and depth perception. General office organizational skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Ability to receive instructions verbally and in writing.
- Able to interface with customers and government officials.
Physical/Mental Abilities Required:
- Requires prolonged standing or sitting.
- Requires frequent bending, stooping, or stretching.
- Capable of lifting 45 lb. unassisted.
- Ability to use good judgment and common sense when performing job functions.
- Ability to be punctual at the job site.
- Ability to complete work assignments by the required date.
Working Conditions:
- Shop environment, frequently outdoors.
- Frequent exposure to dust, desert pollen, extreme heat and cold associated with desert environment and natural conditions existing on Fort Irwin.
- Work Week: Monday-Friday Work Hours: 0730-1600
- Overtime: As Required Travel Required: Yes, within Ft. Irwin.
- Transportation provided.

Equipment Proficiency
Computers MAC/PC, Various reproduction equipment, i.e., paper cutter, laminator, OCE Bruning, Cannon Copiers. General office equipment includes phones, adding machines, and large format printers.
