Ironwood Automotive is a locally-owned and operated Honda & Toyota specialty shop located in Richmond, VA. We have been awarded “Best Local Mechanic” and “Best Automotive Service Shop” multiple times since our opening in 2019 and we pride ourselves on honesty, transparency and our import expertise.

We have recently moved to a new location and have completed a large renovation creating a top-notch facility with the goal of raising the standard for independent automotive shops.

Our team is growing and we are looking to add an additional front-end person to assist our Service Advisor and Technicians. The ideal candidate has an interest and understanding in automotive repair along with a general knowledge of automotive parts. This would be a great position for a part person looking to get out of the dealership and into an independent shop that has room to grow.

Responsibilities

* Assist Service Advisor with answering phone calls and scheduling appointments

* Collaborate with Service Advisor and Technicians to determine parts needed and order accordingly

* Create and modify purchase orders

* Issue purchase orders to appropriate vendor to order parts

* Review special order parts tracking

* Process and close open invoices

* Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received

* Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued

* Organize and distribute parts

Requirements

* High school diploma or GED

* 3+ years of automotive experience in either a dealership or independent shop setting

* Must have a valid driver's license

Salary is $50,000 minimum and dependent on experience.

Employee Hours are 7:30AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday
