Seeking one dynamic full time athletic trainer to join our award-winning work family serving as the Athletic Trainer for STEMCivics Charter School in Mercer County, NJ starting in July 2023. When not needed at your primary partnership site, you will have the opportunity to support other of our 200+ community partnerships, contribute on exciting growth projects, and local JAG-ONE Physical Therapy clinics as a clinical AT.

Job Duties:

Acts as the Athletic Trainer coordinating, managing, and implementing the medical and risk management of all athletes, inclusive of preventative care (taping, bracing, etc.), Emergency care (CPR, first aid, etc.), and maintaining health records. Demonstrates speed, efficiency, and flexibility in the provisions of care, utilizing effective critical thinking skills

• Demonstrating and maintaining an optimistic attitude and professional demeanor, works collaboratively with athletes, clients, leadership, and colleagues
• Communicates effectively and builds cohesive working team, working collaboratively with other local healthcare providers, supportive professionals, and members of the contracted site community
• Works as both a team member and as an autonomous clinician
• Maintains a safe and orderly work environment
• Contributes to and takes ownership of exciting individual and small group service line process improvement and growth projects

Requirements:

Current athletic training BOC certification

New Jersey AT License (or pending)

Current Professional rescuer-level CPR certification

Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence

Ability to effectively interact with all age groups

Advanced certifications preferred, not required

Job Benefits include:

Base Salary Range: $25-$31/hr (commensurate with experience). Hourly position, eligible for overtime and bonus pay
