Associate Director of Urgent Care Development

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Executive Director of Urgent Care Development and CEO

Job Summary: This position has oversight for strategic development for the northeast urgent care locations. Has responsibility for development of programs and services to drive the business in a standardized and engaged way through programs such as employee onboarding & training, patient and customer experience, team building & morale, and the overall healthcare experience.

FLSA STATUS

This position meets the criteria for exemption of the Fair Labor Standards Act; thus, you will not be eligible to receive overtime compensation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develops corporate people strategy in which to align all programs that supports the company vision, mission, and values.

· Partners with owners and field leaders to develop programs and services for employees that support employee engagement, patient satisfaction, and growth.

· Reports out at executive meetings ensuring members are aware of current and upcoming events/issues. Share successes, proposes solutions to issues, & makes recommendations where actions may be duplicated to broaden the success of the organization.

· Makes recommendations to streamline the business for improved business outcomes and cost reduction.

· Review the staffing schedules using available automated tools, and dynamically works to keep staffing at appropriate levels based on metrics.

· Champion for patient satisfaction – oversees resolution with the management team ensuring issues are timely and effectively resolved using uniform and sustainable practices for delivery of care across the northeast.

· Partners proactively with leaders to fully understand the needs of business (including areas such as accreditation and legislative requirements) so inclusive strategic program design can result.

· Travels to field locations to observe current state operations and learn opportunities for better systems and procedures and incorporates these into training.

· Embodies the organization’s mission, vision and values and ensures that other team members have a working understanding of how they can participate in the success of the organization.

· Sets the standard for follow up on actionable items across the team to help instill a sense of urgency.

· Clinical process review to identify areas for improvement for financial impact and increased patient satisfaction.

· Take the lead as project developer on new and changing business ventures. Develop leaders to become project leads and see these through to completion.

· Mentor new and existing employees in important aspects of care include EMR functionality, equipment use, clinical care and organizational imperatives.

· Ensures corporate policies are accurate, current and in compliance with federal and state regulations. Reviews policies and procedures, clinical and non-clinical, company wide. Educates and trains team members on company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Bachelors or equivalent experience; 3 – 5 years demonstrated leadership experience in the healthcare - urgent care setting preferred.

· Experience working clinically preferred.

· Excellent demonstrated problem solving, teamwork, and organizational skills.

· Strong, demonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing.

· Strong project management skills and program education/launch experience.

· Excellent demonstrated networking, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.

· Prior success setting, driving, and achieving strategic organizational goals.

· Strong Microsoft Office suite, and technology skills.

· Willingness and ability to learn and leverage new technologies to drive the next phase in organizational growth.

· Excellent writing and reporting skills.

· Ability to organize meetings and successfully manage staff. Assign tasks from the meeting and follow up on completion keeping stakeholders informed of progress.

· Ability to break down strategic goals and communicate to contributors their role to support the completion of the larger goal(s).

Physical location is MedExcel USA, Inc. in New Windsor, NY; however, travel to field locations is required 3-5 times per week. This role will perform duties in an office and urgent care medical setting.
