We are currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team! The role of the Assistant Property Manager is to assist the Property Manager with the routine operation of the mixed finance portfolio property. The purpose of this position is to provide the additional capacity needed to manage the property effectively. The Assistant Property Manager reports to the Property Manager. This is a full-time exempt position that will require some travel. The Assistant Property Manager will work a 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Our Assistant Property Managers:
- Assist the Property Manager with daily operations.
- Are responsible for the timely submission of all required reports.
- Perform inspections of units to assure compliance with Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and Uniform Physical Conditions Standards (UPCS).
- Prepare leases for applicants and provide applicants with necessary documents and materials.
- Track evictions by maintaining contact with the company's local attorney.
- Are responsible for processing, following through, and consummating special collections (e.g., claims against residents), and/or filing special claims or vacancy claims where applicable.
- Assist the Property Manager with reporting vacancy/occupancy rates to maintain an occupancy rate of 95% or above.
- Assist the Property Manager with rent collection to maintain a rent collection rate of 97% or above.
- Are responsible for attending meetings, inspections, and investor visits as needed.

Requirements:
- Must be proficient knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program (LIHTC), HUD, and/or Public Housing program.
- Must be possess a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Must be proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Elite or similar software.
- Must be proficient knowledge of basic safety practices and procedures.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to be tactful and courteous in all interactions.
- Must have the ability to work as a critical member of a team that is committed to empowering stronger communities.
- Must have the ability to work an on-call or during emergencies if required.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma.
- At least 2 years of property management experience.

SALARY RANGE: $27.28 - $30.30/hour (depending on experience)
