Polyvinyl Films, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise the maintenance of all equipment, buildings, and machinery for seven-day/twenty-four-hour production in the facility. The Assistant Facilities Manager will also be responsible for assuming the duties of the Facilities Manager when needed.

Assistant Facilities Manager Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • 5 to 7 years' prior experience in a facilities or maintenance related role, preferably
in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Knowledge of control systems, machining, motors, and circuits strongly preferred
  • Adept at troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing and maintenance related issues
  • Ability to read building codes, blueprints, and drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all employees
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.

Assistant Facilities Manager
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee day to day operations of production facility
  • Perform or coordinate maintenance of equipment and machines; monitor overall system operations and performance
  • Identify mechanical, electrical, or operational issues and take appropriate corrective action
  • Schedule and document routine and preventative maintenance activities
  • Plan and execute non-routine and preventative maintenance activities
  • Identify maintenance and safety issues and conduct quality control inspections to meet regulatory requirements
  • Supervise and provide daily guidance and direction to maintenance mechanic team
  • Work with senior management to develop and oversee department budget and cost related initiatives
  • Act as primary contact with outside vendors relative to maintenance projects
  • Respond to emergency calls or equipment repairs during off-duty hours, as needed
