Job Title: Alternate Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced professional to join our team as an Alternate Contract Manager. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Contract Manager in overseeing and managing a significant contract for our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution and delivery of DOD and MHS Online Clinical Content Journals, Books, Nursing & Allied Health Knowledge Training/Validation Packages Capabilities Subscription Services with Vendor Support.

Responsibilities:

Ø Collaborate closely with the Contract Manager to coordinate all activities related to the contract, ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Ø Support the Contract Manager in managing various aspects of the contract, including personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and vendor support.

Ø Assist in developing and implementing effective contract management strategies to meet project objectives and requirements.

Ø Work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless execution and delivery of the specified subscription services.

Ø Provide backup and support to off-site personnel involved in the contract, ensuring they have the necessary resources and assistance to fulfill their responsibilities.

Ø Assist in monitoring contract performance, tracking deliverables, and ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Ø Assist in managing contractual relationships with vendors, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.

Ø Review and analyze contract documentation, including terms, conditions, and amendments, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Ø Assist in preparing regular reports and presentations on contract status, progress, and key performance indicators for internal and external stakeholders.

Ø Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in clinical content, healthcare systems, and vendor support.

Qualifications:

Ø Bachelor's degree in business administration, contract management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Ø Proven experience in supporting the management of complex contracts of significant dollar size and technical complexity.

Ø Strong knowledge of contract management principles, practices, and regulations, particularly in government contracting.

Ø Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Ø Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ø Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ø Attention to detail and accuracy in contract administration and documentation.

Ø Proficiency in contract management software and tools.

Ø Knowledge of the healthcare industry, clinical content, and continuing medical education is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $52,596.33 - $162,575.74 per year

Schedule:
