Do you have experience in an electronic assembly environment?

If so, we may have the perfect job for you. ISS is looking for an Advanced Electronics Assembler / Tester to join our team, remanufacturing automotive radios and instrument clusters. Under direct supervision, you will perform the more complex electronic assembly processes on our radio and cluster lines. In addition, you will inspect a wide variety of assemblies and components to verify they conform to specifications and product requirements.

Essential Functions:

• Perform repetitive soldering operations on a variety of electronic subassemblies or parts.
• Ability to change all necessary parts on all applicable models, including surface mount components.
• Maintain an effective daily quantity of repairs while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Read schematics or drawings and understand basic electronic theory.
• Perform research and troubleshooting.
• Maintain bench and test equipment to required specifications, along with a neat and productive work environment.
• Direct experience using standard PC software, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new computer systems.
• Ability to learn all Electronics procedures, service manual and test equipment

Do you have what we are looking for?

• Previous soldering experience - highly preferred
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to assist team members and to follow directives and instructions from department technicians.
• Ability to perform required workmanship standards to adapt to the changing electronic/technological field.
• Education – High School diploma or equivalent

Compensation: Salary range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00 per hour, with the starting salary at $17.00.
