Career Strategies, Inc., a staffing and placement agency, specializing in Property Management positions, is looking for Apartment Maintenance Technicians, Junior Technicians and Groundskeepers to undertake the responsibilities to preserve the good condition and functionality of apartment communities, initially as a temporary, temporary-to-hire employee.

We are offering a foot-in-the-door for potential openings. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as, maintenance work orders, apartment turns as well as picking up of grounds and possibly painting. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.

Now serving, San Gabriel Valley, San Bernardino County, Riverside County and Coachella Valley

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of apartment turns and work orders
• Perform maintenance of electrical outlets (replace light bulbs and sockets, install ceiling fans,etc.)
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, fix garbage disposal, toilets, faucets, stoves, dishwashers etc.)
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (trash pick up, power washing graffiti removal, etc.) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, general maintenance, light electrical, appliance repair, plumbing etc.)

Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skill
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Clean criminal record
