Some extended hours could be assigned at certain times.
- Reads and evaluates transcripts from high schools, colleges and universities; compares course credits to be transferred to those required by or given at UTA.
- Verify data in the GPA system to confirm accurate grade point averages on transcripts.
- Confers with students and their parents concerning eligibility.
- Corresponds with officials of high schools and institutions of higher education concerning course credit and content comparability.
- Management of coursework data in regard to the course level transcript evaluation.
- Ensure that coursework is captured in the Perceptive imaging system and uploads to Student Information System (MyMav).
- This entails queue management and workflow audit for correction or troubleshooting.
- Assist with the management of the team’s workflow for admission decision processing, including but not limited to the review and oversight of the Perceptive Content imaging system.
- Interprets department policies; recommends changes to policies and/or procedures; assists with updates to procedures documentation and training materials.
- Cross-trains staff to perform other admissions-related processes.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree and minimum of three (3) years of experience in a position requiring attention to detail and processing accuracy OR equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in admissions in higher education.
- Skill of attention to detail.
- Extreme accuracy in the maintenance of academic records.
