Job description
Each semester teach one or two courses of elementary or intermediate-level Arabic; course load dependent on the Department’s needs and enrollments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Attend to students’ needs and provide regular course assessment. Be available to work together with full-time Arabic faculty member. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the course, including course and syllabus preparation; grading exams and papers. Must maintain a minimum of 1 office hour per course each week. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to participate in the ProjectGO activities in the summer with additional salary determined by the Office of International Education.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
