Full Time Activities Assistant: 30 hours

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have a passion to work with the Residents to enhance their quality of life.
• Must be a Team Player!
• Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, and relaxation to all residents.
• Assists residents with outside activities and hobbies.
• Assists residents with arts and crafts activities.
• Assists residents with group activities.
• Prints and distributes monthly activities calendar.
• Completes Activities Participation Records.
• Complete initial Activity Assessments and Quarterly Progress Notes.
• Every other weekend - flexible hours

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to supervise group recreational activities.
• Prior experience in a nursing home preferred.
