UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN PROGRAM

El Recorrido is a residential center serving unaccompanied minor boys ages 11-17 years with a goal of uniting them successfully with their families and community. Our proven residential programs focus on the whole student, emphasizing physical and emotional health, educational achievement, vocational interests, independence, and social interaction to help every child achieve his greatest potential.

Responsibilities of this position include ensuring that the planning, organization, and implementation of activities offered are appropriate to meet identified student needs and culturally appropriate for our UC students. Plans and coordinates transportation needs.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Special Education, Rehabilitation Services, or related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Therapeutic Recreation Certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential services, at least one of which shall include a senior position involving the supervision and/or administration of therapeutic recreational services. Bi-lingual Spanish-speaking capabilities preferred. Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.
