As an Accounts Payable Specialist the following apply:

Responsibilities:

  • Routes incoming invoices to the appropriate approvers using the paperless document management system, DocuPeak.
  • Processes and integrates approved documents from DocuPeak to Great Plains/Net Suite.
  • Completes data entry of paper invoices to Great Plains.
  • Maintains Annuity file and invoice data entry for annuity payments.
  • Ensures all invoices have proper backup/approval prior to processing.
  • Assists with weekly check process for various companies.
  • Matches invoices to payments processed and verifies payment amount, payment terms and approvals are accurate.
  • Prepares correcting transactions and vendor maintenance as needed.
  • Administers corporate credit cards and monitors usage and credit limits; updates as needed.
  • Review and process employee expense reports ensuring adherence to Company policies.
  • Responds in a timely manner to Accounts Payable inquiries from vendors and associates.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years accounting experience with a computerized accounting system. (Great Plains preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of 1099 and IRS regulations regarding independent contractors.
