JOB TITLE:
Accounts Payable 1
DEPARTMENT:
Trust Accounting (Las Vegas Russell Road)
REPORTS TO:
Dawnielle Murray
JOB DUTIES:
Position's primary responsibility is to provide clerical support to the Accounts Payable department.
Responsibilities include:
- Input vendor invoices in MAS90
- Print checks
- Prepare monthly disbursement lists
- Create and maintain accounts payable files per vendor
- Maintain client contracts and agreements
- Ability to meet monthly deadlines
- Ability to complete daily assignments
- Works under direct supervision of the A/P Supervisor
- All accounts payable entries are reviewed prior to posting
- All checks are reviewed prior to being distributed
- Any other related duties assigned by Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in an office setting
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Accounts Payable background preferred
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Accurate 10-key by touch
- Good communication skills
- MAS90 knowledge preferred
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Must be able to work under pressure
Mental/Visual Concentration or Manual Dexterity
- Requires normal concentration
- Easily learned, simple movement
Computer Operations
- Computer Typing proficiency (35-40 wpm)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- General knowledge of 10-key
Physical Work Environment
- Normal degree of physical effort in typical office environment with comfortable, constant temperatures and absence of objectionable elements.
- May be subject to interruptions.
- May be required to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.
- Must be able to have flexible work schedule when workflow requires.
- Must meet established attendance and punctuality guidelines.
