Accounting Specialist
We are a well established, growing business based in Charlotte, NC looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our great team. You will play an essential role regarding accounts receivable, accounts payable and other important company accounting / bookkeeping functions. We are looking for an organized, highly motivated individual to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Managing Chart of Accounts
- Monthly reconciliations
- Sales Representative Commission reports and payments
- Managing Sales Representative expense reports
- Liaising with company Accountant
- Managing sales and use tax for website sales
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in business administration with a focus in Accounting/Finance.
· Must have at least 3 years accounting experience.
· Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles are essential.
· Netsuite experience preferred, but not required.
· Be proficient at MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
· Confidentiality and discretion essential.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Accuracy and detail oriented.
· Ability to multi-task and be a team-player.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills (email, phone).
