job summary:
Tatum Professional Search is working with a growing logistics company in Ponte Vedra, FL in need of an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will report to the Controller and be heavily involved in monthly close, day to day accounting operations, and financial reporting objectives. This position is required to be on-site initially and will then offer a flexible hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have their CPA license or be on a CPA track with extensive knowledge of GAAP.

responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
• Oversee accounting daily operations, manage 2 accounting staff
• Monitor and analyze accounting data
• Regularly produce financial reports or statements, Income and balance sheet analysis, month end reports, GL detail
• Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Perform and oversee annual audits
• Provide recommendations
• Meet financial accounting objectives

qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

MBA or MaCC Preferred

CPA preferred

5-7 years of experience
