Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated individual interested in accounting. They will maintain financial records and ensure financial transactions are properly recorded. Knowledge or willingness to research tax changes that may affect the business is desirable. This role reconciles day to day bookkeeping, is responsible for collection of accounts receivable, assists with quarterly tax reporting, assists with accounts payable and assists in processing monthly invoices. Furthermore, the role will be responsible for evaluating processes & reporting data to the organization.

What you will be Doing:

· Conduct tax research and analysis to identify regulatory changes and/or opportunities for the organization

· Analyze current accounting processes and identify areas for improvement to streamline workflow, reduce errors, and improve efficiency

· Be responsible for accounts receivable; including cash receipts and deposits

· Be responsible for accounts payable; including check processing or ACH payments

· Be responsible for monthly billings and invoicing to customers

· Maintain employee benefit accounts

· Process employee payroll, including:

o Tax submittals

o Retirement plan contributions

o Health Plan contributions

o Bonuses and shareholder distributions

o Other reimbursements

· Be responsible for credit card receipts, payments, and entries

· Be responsible for pay rates, labor rates, payroll withholdings, etc.

· Assist with any other administrative tasks as delegated by their supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be legally able to live and work in the United States with no restrictions

· A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business management

· 3+ Years experience in accounting

· Strong technical, analytical and research skills

· Strong desire to learn and attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with multiple deadlines

· Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

· Experience or exposure to Limited Liability companies or S-Corporations

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Access, Excel)

· Reporting Experience within Power BI is a plus

· Payroll processing

· Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantage Point software is a plus

· Employee Benefits knowledge is a plus

· Experience with Tax Reporting is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
